The Brockville Club This a
real site for the Brockville Club. It is a good example of a package site with a few
customizations. It was originally created off of the BrockVegas site on the BrockVegas
server. Recently, the site was given its own domain name and it's own new server. The
migration to the new server was seamless and happened without an interruption in service. |

DER Engineering This is a real site
with using a small business package for a local engineering consultant. It is on one of
our Cobalt RAQ servers and has its own mail system including WebMail, on-line help and
support system, user and system management consoles, server statistics, site statistics
and more. |

Infinikey -- Demo Site This is a
site reserved for a future Trantor Product. We are using this as a demonstration site to
show some of the features of our Cobalt Servers. |

Brock Shredders -- Business
Card Site This is a small business card site that features a slightly unusual
graphical treatment for us. |

Bob Trower -- Personal Website This

easily tied into the websites on this page:

the methods we use for electronic commerce. |

Trantor -- New Site This is
Trantor's latest site. It incorporates many of the features of our latest thinking and is
by way of contrast to the original site below: |

HushData This thumbnail shows the original
HushData site. Compare to The real HushData.com to see how we
have improved over the years. |

|
HushNet Global Portal Site This was
a working pilot for a global portal site. We used the site to compare with local portal
sites and how they would differ as well as used it to prove out some concepts about
portals generally. The majority of the data was derived from 'deep linking' directly to DMOZ.
We hoped to eventually take a feed from DMOZ and develop ourselves using 'hush' sites. However, we
have found that the quality of sites was not up to our standards. |

 |
|
BrockVegas.com Local Portal Site This
was a real local portal site run by us. It was being developed as a focal point for businesses in the Brockville area.
The new BrockVegas.com is being re-done in partnership
with another company to provide similar facilities, but in a more modern form using our new code. Note that
although the content is present, the old way of producing sites (common at the time) produces broken links
whenever a site's base location is changed. This has been correct in our current generation of code and
will be further improved in the next generation coming later this year. |

Dream Weaver
Shopping Site This is our pilot e-commerce site. The site has been in operation for
over three years and has sales revenue which is low, but that exceeds the cost of one
of our package sites. We have learned many things from this site and even though it is due
for an upgrade (coming), it continues to get compliments from users. |
|
|
|
 |
|
HushFinance This
is a site intended to eventually take over the various e-commerce partnerships we have.
The site was used for a pilot to test the safety, usability and client acceptance of the
Secure Socket Layer protocol. Tests were satisfactory and implemented on the Dream Weaver
site. |

|
DataHush Product Site This is a
foray into graphics that 'stun' the audience. Feedback from this site (as expected) was not
positive. Although this type of color scheme and graphical treatment is amusing for
web-site developers and the occasional demo, it is not recommended and none of our package
sites feature such a treatment. A later datahush design moved closer
to our later design standards. We are in the process of converting all sites to a more
data-driven approach.
The new DataHush.com
is pending release of our latest research and design of a new product which brings the datahush
encryption concepts up to date with modern practice. It will also be built using our later
generation of code. |

Peter Trower -- Canadian Author This
is a real site which features poetry by the Canadian author Peter Trower. |
|
|
|
 |
|
HushWebs -- Old Site This
is the entrance into the old HushWebs site and shows the look that was replaced by this
site. Note that the way we have done the migration retains all of the content intact for
both new and old links. There are a number of 'frames' pages in the old site similr to the
one you see here. They still exist on the site, but have a java script that causes them to
resolve to their new equivalent. This has allowed a clean migration to a new site without
disrupting any existing links in search engines and on other pages or sites. Our method of
resolution ensures that revised content will replace old content without breaking links
either internally or externally. |

|
|
 |
|
Local Portal Sample Site This
site was a demo site that was password protected.
The site shows the use of an entrance page to allow visual impact when
viewing the opening page without making operation of the site tedious. We tend to shy away
from doing this type of site. Our research shows that well used sites and financially
successful sites tend not to use these pages as it interferes with the use of the site
slightly. We think it looks great as a thumbnail or for a demonstration, but is less than
optimal as a format for a real site. |
